The UBU Project is an arts education outreach organization specializing in social-emotional (SEL) arts integration residencies in K-12 schools. While our mission is: the prevention of youth suicide, addiction, and bullying through SEL-Arts Residencies, our interactive SEL curriculum remains focused on empowering students through "The UBU Treasure Chest" of hope, resilience, self-compassion, and empathy as taught through music & songwriting, movement, or theatre.
The UBU Project is fully aligned with the following Evidence-Based Protocols
Trauma-Informed Practices (TIPS)
Social-Emotional Learning (SEL)
Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS)
In a cross-section of over 1000 students research shows a 31.17% increase in UBU student comprehension and application of The UBU Project SEL Treasure Chest Words:
HOPE | RESILIENCE | SELF-COMPASSION | EMPATHY
