K-12, Interactive, Student-Led Arts Integration Residencies: Transform Your S.T.E.M. to S.T.E.A.M.

All UBU Project Residencies are Tailored to Your Needs, Goals and Guidelines

Much like the Saturday morning cartoon Schoolhouse Rock™, UBU Project Arts Integration Residencies utilize performing arts skills and curricula to support and enhance the work already being done across all of your core curriculum content areas.

Based upon the principles of Socratic Seminar, all UBU Project Residencies are

  • Student-Led
  • Project-Based
  • Goal-Oriented
  • Arts-Infused

Your customized UBU Project Residency will deepen your students' comprehension of the subject matter at hand by having them teach it, using meta-cognition, to the UBU Project teaching artist. The teaching artist will then guide your students in creating original songs, scenes, tableaux and/or movement pieces based upon this knowledge.

Student-led, Project-based, Goal-oriented Arts Integration Residencies have been successfully implemented  across multiple core content areas including, but not limited to:

  • Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) and Character Education
